Transfer a workspace
Hand a workspace to a new owner. Keep history, swap users, reconnect socials.
For Hub admins. Don't remove the old owner until the new owner has logged in and confirmed access.
Pick the scenario

| Multi-unit owner gives up one unit only | Unassign them from that one workspace; keep their account |
| New owner is brand-new to your network | Create their user account, assign to the existing workspace |
| New owner already owns other workspaces | Add this workspace to their existing user account |
Steps
Invite or assign the new owner
From Organization → User Seats, either invite the new franchisee or open an existing user and assign them the transferring workspace with the Workspace Owner role.
Confirm the new owner can log in
Have them sign in and confirm they see the workspace before proceeding.
Remove or unassign the previous owner
Open the outgoing user in User Seats. If they're leaving entirely, remove the user. If they keep other workspaces, just unassign them from this one.
Reconnect social accounts
Social tokens are tied to whoever authorized them. Have the new owner go to Connected Accounts, remove stale connections, and reconnect with their admin access on the brand pages.

- Location data and custom variables
- Media library
What needs manual action
- Social account reconnection (new OAuth)
- Billing admin email (update if the new owner should receive invoices) — Scribe ↗

- Any drafts saved under the old user account
