Onboard a new workspace
Complete setup for a new franchisee — workspace, user, location, socials, ad config, and budget.
For Hub admins. ~20 minutes for the Hub-side setup. Franchisee finishes in their onboarding call.
Run these eight steps in order for every new franchisee. Each step links to the click-by-click Scribe.
What you need
- Franchisee's full name + email
- Location name as it should appear in marketing (e.g., "Brand Name — City")
- Physical address, phone, business hours
- Agreed monthly budget
- Admin access to the brand's Meta ad account and pixel
Steps
Create the workspace and owner account
Go to Organization → Workspaces → Add Workspace, then invite the franchisee from Organization → User Seats with the Workspace Owner role assigned to the new workspace.
Update the Location table
From the Hub, open Hub Locations and add the row for this workspace — address, phone, hours, neighborhoods, and any brand-specific custom variables.
Connect socials, ad account & pixel
From the workspace context, Connected Accounts → Connect Facebook, choose the location's pages, then link the brand's Meta ad account and connect the brand pixel.
Configure the Ad Configuration table
Create audience types, set defaults, and confirm:
- Audiences (Database, Mass, Lookalike, etc.) are configured for the workspace
- For Traffic playbooks: workspace Website URL is correct
- For Lead playbooks: an Instant Form is created in Meta and synced into Flamel
Add the workspace to Flamel Billing and set the budget
Go to Billing → Budgets, find the new workspace, enter the monthly amount, and save — this creates the Stripe subscription.
Send the onboarding call link
Share the franchisee's Calendly link so they can book their 1:1 kickoff.
Franchisee: add payment method
On the call, walk them through Billing → Payment Method → Add card (or ACH).
Franchisee: opt into first playbook
From Paid Social Ads → Playbooks → Shop, pick the right playbook, customize media if allowed, and submit.
