If upload fails
| Symptom | Try |
|---|---|
| Unsupported format error | Convert to JPG/PNG/MP4 in a desktop tool |
| File too large | Compress / resize before uploading |
| Stuck progress | Refresh, try a smaller batch (5–10 files at a time) |
| Wrong color or distortion | Save as UTF-8 / standard color profile, not CMYK |
Compressing images
Most photo editors expose JPG quality (try 80%) — file size often drops 70%+ with no visible quality loss. For batch compression, ImageOptim (Mac), Squoosh (web), or Sharp (CLI) work well.
Compressing video
Handbrake (free desktop tool) or FFmpeg (CLI) can shrink video dramatically — H.264 at 8 Mbps target bitrate handles most social content while staying well under platform limits.
