Blog Editor
Write, format, schedule, and publish posts.
For everyone. Workspaces typically publish to their own site; Hubs can share post ideas via Blog Ideas.
Create a post
Blog → Create → New Blog Post. The editor opens immediately.
Start with a title — clear, specific, includes relevant keywords. It's what readers see in search results and on your blog index.
Formatting
| Element | Use for |
|---|---|
| Headings | H2 for sections, H3 for subsections. The editor handles H1 (your title) automatically. |
| Bold / italic | Key concepts and emphasis. Don't overuse. |
| Lists | Bulleted for unordered items, numbered for steps. |
| Block quotes | Highlight key takeaways or quoted material. |
Media
Insert images from the Media Library or upload directly.
- Always add alt text — accessibility + SEO. Short, accurate description of what the image shows.
- Captions are optional. Use when an image needs context.
- One image every ~300 words keeps long-form content scannable.
Links
| Type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Internal | Link to your other blog posts — keeps readers engaged, helps SEO |
| External | Cite authoritative sources where relevant |
| Anchor | Jump to specific sections in long posts |
Use descriptive anchor text (learn more about franchise SEO) — not click here.
Drafts and autosave
The editor autosaves as you write — a saved indicator appears when changes are captured.
| Action | When |
|---|---|
| Save Draft | Pause for now; keep it private |
| Discard | Throw away unsaved edits, revert to last save |
Preview
Click Preview to see the rendered version before publishing. Spot-check headings, image sizing, link destinations. Check on mobile dimensions too if your readers are phone-heavy.
Publish
| Option | When |
|---|---|
| Publish Now | Time-sensitive, ready immediately |
| Schedule | Pick a future date/time — useful for cadence |
| Unpublish | Pull from public view; content is preserved |
Writing tips
- Short paragraphs — 2–3 sentences each
